The Hoxton Project

Easter Weekend 2003: The Hoxton Project, Hoxton Hall, London

What happens when a dozen artists, working in almost every medium from sculpture to digital animation, are invited to create work in response to a spooky old music hall (virtually unchanged since it was built in 1863) located in one of the most interesting and historic parts of London?

A multimedia event that is part-installation, part-performance. A Variety Bill of lime-lit spectacle, sounds, smoke, mirrors, magic, and plenty of things that go bump in the night. A fun, free thing to do over the Easter Weekend. A chance to encounter the ghosts of Hoxton Past and a rare opportunity to explore a fascinating and unique building.....
